Activities at the Randall
Davey Audubon Center & Sanctuary
The Bountiful Birds of Santa Fe
This
monthly series consists of a Thursday evening class (6:30–8:30 PM)
at the Randall Davey Audubon Center & Sanctuary, offered in
a fun and interesting format, followed by a Saturday field
trip (8:30–10:30
AM).
The cost is $15 each month and includes both the Thursday
lecture and the Saturday field trip. All proceeds go towards
the Randall Davey Audubon Center & Sanctuary programs and
conservation activities. For

Natural History of the Santa Fe River
Have you ever wondered about the name of that plant or animal you saw, or
how it lives in this environment? Come join us as we explore the fascinating
natural world right in our backyards. Bring the whole family to discover
local plants and animals and learn what you can do to help protect them.
This series of natural history programs is co-sponsored by the Randall Davey
Audubon Center and the Santa Fe Watershed Association. All programs are on
Saturdays from 9:00–11:00 AM at the Randall
Davey Audubon Center

Guided
Bird Walks
Every Saturday morning an experienced
birder will lead an easy walk on the grounds of the 135–acre wildlife
sanctuary that is the Randall Davey Audubon Center & Sanctuary. Bring
your binoculars or borrow ours. All skill levels are welcome.

Randall Davey Historic House Tours
Step
back in time as you stroll through the old Santa Fe style
home (originally a lumber mill built in 1847 by the U.S.
Army), of the artist Randall Davey (1887-1964). This docent-led
tour will give you an opportunity to view some of Davey’s
most spectacular works of art, as well as a beautiful collection
of Spanish Colonial and European antiques.
