Site Description Large, relatively unspoiled salt playas. These are part of a complex of playas in the area, many of which are extremely polluted and toxic.
Birds These salt playas provide nesting habitat for snowy plovers and important stopover sites for migrating shorebirds.
Conservation Issues Illegal dumping and legal potash by product dumping could potentially be very serious as evidenced by other playas in the area.
