| Site Description |
Large, relatively unspoiled salt playas. These are
part of a complex of playas in the area, many of which are extremely
polluted and toxic. |
| Birds |
These salt playas provide nesting habitat for snowy
plovers and important stopover sites for migrating shorebirds. |
| Conservation Issues |
Illegal dumping and legal potash by product dumping
could potentially be very serious as evidenced by other playas in the area. |
