What: Let’s Go Birding Together! A Free Bird Walk for Pride! Live event.

When: Santa Fe-- Saturday, June 19th 8:00 am; Albuquerque--Sunday, June 6th 8:00 am

Where: Patrick Smith Park on East Alameda, Santa Fe;  Rio Grande Nature Center in Albuquerque

Who: In Santa Fe: Bird expert Cheryl Grindle of The Bird Hub; in Albuquerque: Laurel Ladwig, local bird expert and naturalist and Backyard Refuge Coordinator for the Friends of Valle De Oro NWR

Audubon Southwest invites the New Mexico LGBTQIA++ community to join us in celebrating not just the diversity of our birds in Santa Fe, but also our people. Let’s Go Birding Together! bird walks are intentionally welcoming of the LGBTQIA++ community and designed to be a space where people can be themselves without fear of judgment. Let’s Go Birding Together! builds community and creates diversity, reflecting the biodiversity in our ecosystems.
